Who is responsible

Damindu Singith is an independent photographer based in Toronto, Ontario, and is responsible for the personal information handled through this website and photography inquiries.

What the website collects

The inquiry form sends your message to Damindu’s business email when direct delivery is available. If it is unavailable, the form prepares an email in your own email application. The website does not create an account or keep a separate inquiry database. Your name, email address, project details and any later correspondence are received and kept in Damindu’s email account.

The website host may process standard technical information, such as an IP address, browser details and security logs, to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose faults. No advertising trackers or behavioural advertising cookies are intentionally used.

Why information is used

Inquiry information is used to reply, check availability, prepare estimates, arrange a booking, provide photography services and maintain necessary business or legal records. It is not sold, added to a marketing list without consent or used to train artificial-intelligence models.

The portfolio contains photographs and video from commissioned or attended projects. Damindu intends to publish identifiable work only where its display is permitted. If you appear in the portfolio and have a privacy or permission concern, contact Damindu using the route below so it can be reviewed promptly.

Service providers and other countries

Email and website infrastructure providers, including Google, Resend and Cloudflare/OpenAI Sites, may process information on Damindu’s behalf. Their systems may operate outside Canada, where information can be subject to the laws of that country. These providers receive only the information needed to provide their services.

Instagram and the private client-gallery platform are separate services. Their own privacy notices apply when you use them. The gallery platform’s privacy notice explains how photographs, selections, downloads and gallery activity are handled.

Retention and security

Inquiry information is reviewed periodically and deleted when it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected. Booking, contract, payment and tax-related records may be kept for the period required by law or reasonably needed to resolve a dispute. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no online system can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask what personal information Damindu holds about you, request access or correction, withdraw consent where applicable, or ask for deletion when the information is no longer required. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed. Damindu aims to respond within 30 days, subject to lawful exceptions.
